sight and sound (San Miguel de Allende)
these colors caused me stop
and stay
whereupon
i heard them
singing
"I felt a tremendous affinity with Van Gogh's deep feeling for the things he painted and how he exaggerated the colors of sky, chairs, faces, to bring them to almost more than life."
~Susan Rothenberg

I love seeing what other photographers see when first greeted with the bold, contrasting colors of the magical mountain village of San Miguel de Allende. Terry, your skilled eyes were missing nothing. This image is a tribute to that fact.
ReplyDeleteThe color there is so striking. I haven't figured out why we don't do color in Kansas that way!!!
