pondering a door (set aside)

when a door
is not a door
at it’s core
anymore

can it be used for
something more?

i say yes, 
for sure
and pity the poor person 
for whom such things 
are but a bore

who have to go to a store
to be allured by art, or floored
by beauty

just give me
