reflecting on circles

when i see these circles
i think of
all that goes
round 
in my life

most of it good
and some of it 

not good

i think of hula hoops
(you stay in yours and i’ll
stay in mine)

truck tires
(bearing the weight of
so many goods)

and merry go rounds
that make one dizzy

the sun, the planets
the cycles of life

round and round
and round 
again

*And i also think of a passage of scripture that encompasses and brings light to all other thoughts of circles:

“I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, says the Lord. He who was, and is, and is to come. “ Revelation 1:8
