reminded by the red rocks

i sometimes 
find it funny

that we think
we have such a twenty twenty view

of everything around us

we say to ourselves that
we have the answers

we have “their" 
number

we know the inside
scoop

but there are illusions
in life

and sometimes,
even we get
fooled
