what color conveys (#1)

thank you creator of hue
that in periwinkle blue

i see new hope
rising

in spite of sorrow

i saw
pink clusters of comfort
in the garden
that day

and there was
nary a way
to deny
them

i sometimes 
find it funny

that we think
we have such a twenty twenty view

of everything around us

we say to ourselves that
we have the answers

we have “their" 
number

we know the inside
scoop

but there are illusions
in life

and sometimes,
even we get
fooled
