choosing light, late

enjoy the full moon
her email read

twas late
but i unarmed the alarm
threw open the bolt
and stepped out
onto cold concrete

how is it
i fail to avail myself
of such wonder
(sitting instead behind
the latch)

night after

words spoken to a bunny

there you sit little one
in a world fraught with

don't fear me
for i am kin

i know what it's like
to be frightened
to feel that the only safe move
is no move
at all

seeing you reminds me
of the profound tenderness
with which Jesus sees us both

understanding as He does
all that it means
to live on this tiny, beautiful,
and dangerous

"He came with them to a place called Gethsemane......where He began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then He said to them, "My soul is very grieved, even unto death, stay and watch with me."

Our Savior King, is indeed able to sympathize with our weaknesses. Heb. 4:15
