thoughts while hurrying by

we could be friends
you and i

if i stopped to say hi
instead of just rushing by

you would nuzzle my hand
and breathe on me

*A quick side note......i did stop and visit Mr. Steer this week and he did indeed nuzzle my hand and i think he breathed contentment.

it flows behind 

my house

a five minute walk

and i take in this view

which seems new

each time i

go there

am i not

blessed?

am i not beholden?

i see him through

the brambles

whiteness 

brightening 

a shadowed world

but he is blind

and darkness 

is his brother

oh, that he could know

his presence here 

this morning

brings a royal

to fall afresh

on me
