one september morning

When the movie was over, i found myself sobbing as the credits rolled. I knew it would be sad when i bought the ticket but didn’t expect this kind of reaction. It had “hit a nerve” as they say. “Sorry, but i just need to go with this”….i whispered to my husband. Thank God for tears, for cries that catch in our throats, for outlets of many forms…yes, even anger. Thank God for things so tender they deserve sobbing over like life, love and all that is left in their wake.

Upon waking the next morning i discovered we were encased in heavy fog conditions. I quickly grabbed my camera gear and headed out. Sights such as this one are what awaited me. Such a healing thing it was.

"I go to nature to be soothed and healed and to have my senses put in order."

"We don't see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist.  But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright. We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God see us, knowing him directly just as he knows us."  ~1Cor. 13:2  (the message)
