otherworldly

i believe i speak truth

when i say 

i have seen nothing

from the hand of man

as vibrant and gay

as this boat of glass balls  

among lily pads

the mere glimpse of her 

from a distance

infused my hungering senses

with hope, elation,

and praise

like an autumn night’s dream 

otherworldly
